Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACoA) through an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens

FRIENDLY CIRCLE BERLIN WORKSHOP
“DISCOVER NEW POSSIBILITIES FOR RECOVERY”

Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACoA) through an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens

Description

This workshop will explore how IFS aligns with ACoA and the similarities and key differences between these two powerful and effective trauma healing and recovery programmes.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a psychotherapy model that uses a parts model of mind and therapy to heal childhood trauma and addiction. Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families (ACoA) is a 12 step trauma recovery programme that also uses a multiplicity-based parts framework called ‘Reparenting’.
